About Writers' Notes

Writers' Notes was created by author Christopher Klim in 2002. It gathers the best free writer’s and reader’s information sites on the Internet. This is a free service and mailing list for curious people, and it relies on the voluntary work of its members. Meet the Staff of Writers' Notes.

Another key mission of Writers' Notes involves the promotion of literature and writers. Each year, the editorial staff of Writers' Notes facilitates The Eric Hoffer Award for short prose and independent books. The results of this prestigious award are printed in the annual anthology, Best New Writing.

Writers' Notes is a free service, requiring countless volunteer hours to function. There are, however, real costs associated with this operation. You can help by purchasing a book from Hopewell Publications (i.e. the company which donates time and money to maintain the website) or by sending a small donation below. Thank you!
